I e-mailed him a world map of newspspers and their front pages - something to pass the time. He is home bound.
His response -

"Yeah, Wall Street just loves the sob. I loved their finish, well at least they didn’t loose as much as Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. He will never make it through the year."

1. Since that doesn't seem to be a cogent thought, I'd ignore it.

Not that he would be able to remember how to spell "lose" for more than a minute anyway.

But, it seems to suggest that Wall Street will end his Presidency. It's too vague and meaningless to be sure he means it as a prediction of something awful or someone being fired.

Aren't these the smartest and "most economically productive members of society"? The icons of conservatism that Republicans are always looking out for? Don't their opinions count?

Pardon the extended, boring analogy -- but your situation sounds a little like that episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" where an alien "artificial intelligence" device is rescued from a crash site on a barren planet. Then it turns out the device is not only waaaay advanced, technologically, it's a futuristic A.I. kamikaze, a thinking bomb. It co-opts Data, so there are facial expressions, words, moods and other characteristics which one would associate with a human... But -- it's a bomb. Its only purpose is destruction.

You seem to be having a conversation with the human equivalent of that kamikaze character, only yours isn't a weapon of mass destruction, it's just an output device for number display.
