President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize win mocked in GOP fundraising letter

The GOP is using President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize as a fundraising tool, by mocking the award in a send-money letter to Republicans.

Russia's president congratulated Obama on Saturday for the surprising honor, and even Cold War foe Fidel Castro said he was happy for him.

But Republican National Committee head Michael Steele is bristling with outrage, saying in a letter that Obama won the prize "for awesomeness."

It shows "how meaningless a once honorable and respected award has become," he wrote, asking for contributions of $25 to $1,000 for the RNC ...

the "Country First" crowd that lambasted anyone who criticized BushCo for the wrongheaded things that they did.

I remember how outraged so many conservatives were when Bush didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize. Apparently he was nominated, probably by some other neocon person of importance.

They've got nothing and this just proves it. I didn't think they could sink any lower but I was wrong.

Hello everyone I am new here, And i would like to say i am glad that he got the Nobel Prize.Because 8 years in the PIT that George Bush put the American people in its time to have good leadership.The Republican Don't have two legs to stand on And if they attack Obama they think that will give them at least one.
