Steele warns wayward Republicans: 'We'll come after you'

As USA TODAY’s Kathy Kiely reported earlier today, the conservative Club for Growth is airing ads attacking Gov. Charlie Crist , R-Fla., for supporting President Obama’s stimulus package.

Steele also added that he understands the Tea Party protesters and the GOP walks with them.

“I don't need you to identify as a Republican,” Steele said. “I need you to identify as a conservative. We are the conservative party” ...

Apparently the Republican name brand is in such disrepute that the head of the Republican Party has decided to try rebranding
