Our planet hangs by a very fragile balance of power. While I've dedicated most of my waking hours to meticulously plan on methodologies on eliminating the republican party, I realize that much of what needs to be done has to be accomplished in a world where, sadly, a great majority of people do not understand the implications and illegalities that the republican party represents from both societal and criminal standpoints.
If there were ten people in the United States who, if they suddenly get abducted by aliens or get transported to a faraway island (not in the tropics, of course, but one of those near the Aleutians or Antarctica), and have no influence on their current standing in the US, who would they be?
(NOTE TO SECRET SERVICE, HOMELAND SECURITY, CHENEY NAZI HIT SQUAD, ET AL: I do not -- repeat... do NOT -- actually publicly advocate the "disappearance of any individual" in an illegal, destructive method. I am NOT a republican nazi militia member who routinely advocates such to our guys. I'm strictly talking about a natural or extraterrestrial event beyond that of the criminal statute codes. Due to insensitivity on the republicanist idiots around the globe, this is my official disclaimer. So don't get into a snit.)
I've decided upon a list that lists those individuals who, individually and collectively, represent the biggest threat to humanity and to our planet, in lieu of their republicanist tenets of capitalistic plundering, both of our humanity, our communities, and our planetary health, would benefit our society the most.
Actually, the list is simple. I've come up with the order of importance, with the understanding that the current political situation indicates that Democratic Progressives are in charge of the Executive and Legislative Branches.
On the list, I have past and potential politicians, justices, and media hosts.
Without further ado, here they are.
Clarence Thomas Samuel Alito John Roberts Atonin Scalia Sarah Palin Dick Cheney Rush Limbaugh Glenn Beck Sean Hannity Mark Levin
Let's take them in order.
Clarence Thomas—Very little can be said about Thomas that would not create a very painful reaction in the body of any thinking, rational person. His ultra-destructive views have cost our country, and planet, untold trillions of dollars and millions, if not billions, of precious lives. When Anita Hill was excoriated for daring to expose Thomas for sex offenses beyond the pale, and instead was confirmed to foist his anti-Constitutionalist views on our fragile system, the stage was set for the biggest republicanist takeover of the country, and in extension, the continued plundering of the planet was solidified. His Supreme Court decisions have been pivotal in endangering our lives, and he may have at least 15 more years of death and destruction for the average American. Of course, his most significant ruling was to select George W. Bush as president following the LePore butterfly ballot debacle.
Samuel Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts—The two men on the court selected by Bush as a DIRECT result of Thomas and Scalia selecting THAT idiot. Without that decision, we would be seeing, perhaps, Justice Sotomayor and CHIEF Justice Elena Kagan during a Gore presidency. All the 5-4 decisions that we lost would have, instead, been significant 6-3 wins for our side. To that end, Thomas has, so far, been the most destructive political man in America, next to George W. Bush
Antonin Scalia—Ronald Reagan’s destructive, republicanist legacy to the court. It led to a clampdown by the progressives in Congress to prevent our biggest save so far, Bork, from reaching the judicial bench and wreaking havoc.
With these four guys plopped down on an island far in the Arctic or Antarctic, never to be seen nor heard from again, President Obama would be able to put four more progressives on the court, preferably young, so that we can effectively negate any unreasonable attempt by the right to legislate, or in the freak circumstance they win the presidency, to execute their laws with any real emphasis.
This brings us to:
Sarah Palin—When she was announced as the vice president nominee for the republican party in 2008, I was the first person to recognize that this heathen represented our NUMBER ONE ENEMY. While many of us were laughing uproariously at why a dim bulb could be electable, I saw the rapture in the denizens of the conservatives who were looking for anything they could grasp a straw. With a demonic, almost Satanic trance, this feral bitch from the utter depths of hell and damnation transfixed her evil persona on her minions. Although the election was predictable, the problem is that the seeds of the teabagger movement were sewn. Rick Santelli, that bastard who had NO BUSINESS AT ALL on an NBC network, may have popularized the name, but make no mistake: it was Palin’s influence that started the whole shebang.
We have enough threads on DU with regard to her, so I won’t repeat anything that everyone already knows. The bottom line is that she remains, individually, the most dangerous person in the world at this point in time.
Obviously, there are republican politicians all over the country who will rise in the ranks, but for now, Palin is our most significant target. With her plucked away out of the picture and onto a deserted island, the entire Tea Party movement, aka the teabagging shitheads, would not have had the significance that it did, and we would NOT be facing an incredible onslaught in November.
Dick Cheney—Although he's not nearly the danger he once was, certainly not in any official capacity of the US Government, he remains the symbol and active puppeteer of the military/industrial complex in the world. His scheming fingers are seen in virtually every corporate backroom deal over a billion dollars, and of course everyone now knows of his murderous connections with the disaster of the BP oil rigs. His current representation in the criminal conservative movement rings high on the true terror alert for progressive movements throughout the world. Yes, he definitely needs to get the hell out of here, NOW.
The Final Four Harbingers of Doom
Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin—the four most despotic media whores in the world. Clear Channel and Fox, two organizations that should have been severely penalized for overt violations of the Federal Communications Commission, have spawned these four excrement-filled creampuffs. With any decent push by our Democratic Congress to push hard for a new Fairness Doctrine or a Localism bill, these clowns would not even see the light of day on our airwaves. Unfortunately, their popularity has reached the point where the Internet is now taking over much of the media. Had they been stifled, they would not have gotten out their filth, criminally mis-interpreted as “First amendment privilege” (Oh, PLEASE!), and our progressive values would have been aired instead.
So where are we at today?
If these ten suddenly disappear on an alien ship, or to a deserted island with no possibility of communicating with decent humans, then we could fill the Supreme court with progressives so that our way of life will be preserved, as well as progressive values implemented more easily; that no divisive republicanist thugs take over, and that we have relative harmony on the media.
NOW, there are several clowns who I left off the list, because they currently don’t hold any threat to our progressive way of life. George W. Bush being one of them, of course. Though I’d give my left patootie to see him languishing in an International prison for war crimes, anything that happens to him now plays no part in the current situation. Some other idiots exist, but none of them have as much influence as the top ten above.
But the list represents a clarity of focus for progressives to target, and to ensure that our vitriol is now directed toward the REAL enemy of this planet. We must prevail.
PS: Shouldn't "Palin" rhyme with "Stalin"???
