News Hounds, google search led to a
PDF upload on GlennBeck.comHA! One of the rare times that conservatives can be correct about liberals...but then put a bunch of BS like "Al Gore’s getting a divorce? Blame Bush." I guess that's for humour. This list is in the style of Bernard Goldberg's book
100 People Who Are Screwing Up America. (Goldberg made #93.) The top 10:
1. Glenn Beck
2. Sarah Palin
3. Rush Limbaugh
4. George W. Bush
5. Ann Coulter
6. Michelle Malkin
7. The Tea Party Patriot
8. Dick Cheney
9. Bill O'Reilly
10. Michele Bachmann
You know what? I actually tried to read the profiles of the top ten...and as you'd expect from a right-wing publication these profiles are all apologetic and defending of the subjects and bullying liberals but won't address the serious reasons why we hate these people. Glenn Beck's paranoid, unreal commentary. Sarah Palin's quitting her elected position in order to tour the continental US to promote loser Republican candidates. The daily lies of Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Hannity and Malkin on their radio shows/blogs/whatever publications. The racism and narrow minds of the Tea Party Patriots. The war crimes and massive debt of Bush & Cheney. Bachmann's silly attempts to be little miss smarty pants.
If you're curious, here are how other familiar names ranked. Only the top 50 "hated" conservatives got writeups.
Andrew Breitbart: 15
L. Brent Bozell III: 83
Tom Coburn: 52 (Townhall even makes sure to label him "hardcore conservative". And I thought that labelling conservatives=liberal bias?)
S.E. Cupp: 99 (she's the atheist conservative commentator who defends the American Christian culture, i.e. her book
Losing Our Religion)
James Dobson: 38 (you can find
MANY intellectually grounded reasons to distrust him and Focus on the Family in general)
Matt Drudge: 13
Erick Erickson: 96 (he recently got a job at CNN as a political analyst)
Newt Gingrich: 14
David Horowitz: 46
Bobby Jindal: 67
Bob McDonnell: 47
Rupert Murdoch: 20
Chuck Norris: 66
James O'Keefe & Hannah Giles: 21 (oh please, when will the apology tour for these wannabe undercover journos STOP?)
Rand Paul: 64
Ron Paul: 53
David Petraeus: 59 (but now that Obama is re-appointing him to lead Afghanistan, I think that he won't make the list next year.)
Condoleezza Rice: 56
Karl Rove: 11
Michael Savage: 26 (but do note that Goldberg and Bozell have criticised Savage, so does it make them liberals too?)
Phyllis Schlafly: 77
Michael Steele: 42
Tim Tebow: 74 (yes, that Super Bowl advertisement does have a fallacious message if not one disagreeable.)
I guess we liberals shall take this list as a badge of honor!
