JUNEAU, ALASKA -- A report filed with the Federal Election Commission on Sunday shows that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin's political action committee contributed at least $87,500 to candidates she has endorsed in the past few months.
But the financial disclosure filed by SarahPAC also shows the Republican spending more than $210,000 on consulting.
Republican candidates receiving money from Palin for the period covering April 1 to June 30 include Terry Branstad, who is running for governor of Iowa, and Joe Miller, who is challenging Sen. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) in the August Republican primary. Each received $5,000.
Among Palin's other high-profile endorsements: Republican Carly Fiorina, who is running for the Senate from California, received $2,500. But Nikki Haley, who is running for governor of South Carolina and for whom Palin made a campaign appearance, received no money, according to the filings.
