Bristol Palin getting $14K for speech

Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is scheduled to speak at the Louisville Marriott Downtown on behalf of Lifehouse, a home for single mothers in Louisville Kentucky. According to a report by the Louisville Courier-Journal, Palin will be paid $14,000 to speak for the group - less than Laura Ingraham, whom the group also considered as a potential speaker.

And as I expected this Lifehouse place (not affiliated with the band, haha) is Christian. The Courier reports: "The center presents the Christian faith through Bible studies and other means to the clients, who have included non-Christians girls." and "The non-denominational Christian program provides women with shelter, health care, counseling, classes in taking care of themselves and their children and aid toward their education." Bristol's event is intended to raise funds for the org: "The $125-per-person benefit will raise funds toward plans to double the home's capacity, but it's also intended to bring publicity to the program after its low-key startup, executive director Joan Smith said."

The industry of it all! How it makes and takes for its own, while the rest watch and play along.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all pull in thousands for a speech. No, we are only the cast of thousands for their big movie and our parts are only that of meaningless clowns in the background. Yet, we continue to participate as if the show has any real meaning or validity for us and ours personally, no matter how insignificant our casting and pay.

We don't even get in the credits though the whole horror show of dark and troubling bullshit rolls across our very backs and scars our children's hearts and fore heads on the way to support and enshrine the parade of fools in the ridiculous museum of infamy we now call history. Actually, it has now become nothing more than an expensive Simulation that regurgitates permutations of the past and inspires us to believe that its mutated, greedy chimera are actually creativity and entertainment and not merely propaganda and manipulation designed only to keep the grand facade going into perpetuity if possible.
