Cain told Forbes magazine Wednesday that he believed Curt Anderson, a former consultant on Cain’s unsuccessful 2004 Senate bid in Georgia, leaked the allegations. The former Godfather’s Pizza CEO told the magazine that he had notified Anderson he had been falsely accused of sexual harassment in case the issue came up during his Senate run.
Anderson now works for On Message Inc., a consulting group hired by Perry’s presidential campaign. He denied being the leak.
“I have great respect for Herman and his character and I would never speak ill of him, on the record or off the record,” Anderson said in a statement, adding that he knew nothing of the allegations until he read about them in the media ...
