Conservatives and Republicans have sold their Souls
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 06:01 PM by Homer12
Lets make this clear to everybody in this country starting with our friends and relatives and family (even our conservative and republican ones), that the leaders in their ideologies and political parties and maybe even them, have sold their ethics and morals and souls to do anyhting to win to advacne their agenda.

Let them scream, bitch and moan about Bill Clintons Penis, let them bash us as much as they want.

I don't care anymore, they must begin to realize that they have lost the moral high ground (real or imagined) from the 1990's.

The Right sold its soul, sold it all, to dominate and now they must pay!

And pay they will (and to any lurking freepers out in DU land) in 2004: Abuse your power, initimidate and lie, bypass democratic processess, marginalize minorities, inflame hatred, flag-wave with nationalistic fervor. You blind yourself, stop blaming US the left, for your mistakes. Take some responsability, becuase GW and Ashcroft have made your Big Brother Nightmare come true!

It will be all equaled out in the end, and this I promise.

You have brought us the sword, yet you have not realized that your falling on it!

1. you are right
the more they defend that rat bastard regime in the White House, the deeper they dig their moral position straight to hell.

4. They have lied about their morality for too long.
The chickens are now coming home to roost.
We knew they were lying about sexual morality when Jim Baker, Newt Gingrich, and others admitted to infidelity.
We knew they were lying about personal responsibility and control, when Bill Bennett doubled down the second mortgage, and when Rush bought heroin lite by the wheelbarrow full.
What else have they lied about? Economics?
We've listened to three straight Republican Presidents claim they would help the economy, and then go and run it into the ground.
They tell us they want to lower unemployment, yet all of their corporate friends get giddy over the increased labor pool, and reduced wages that high unemployment yields.

6. Just so sad.
But... but... they're Republicans! They're what God wants! All that love and mercy and tolerance in the Bible's just extra stuff. Everyone knows that despite being Middle Eastern himself, Jesus would so bomb Iraq. It's just sad they're trying to legislate morality and put prayer in schools. The Constitution has the whole 'no establishing official religion' bit in it, and they go and ignore it. Oh, and we have a minute of 'silent meditation' at my school. A minute of silence.

14. God belongs to no party
I have been put off by the Republicans stance that only they can be good christians. Jesus doesn't adhere to nay political party nor does he care what party you belong. Jesus Christs only cared about what was inside of the person.

8. They get away with it, becuase of apathy and ignorance...
Edited on Mon Nov-17-03 11:10 AM by Homer12
...In the end it's the apathy and ignorance of Millions of Americans (moderate, the left and the right).

And it's the willingness of the leaders and media talking heads of the right, to turn a blind eye on hypocrisy and ethical and moral corruption to push their agenda. Their willingess to maniuplate and lie. They think that teh BUSHCO agenda is theirs, some have been fooled, but I think most are willing tools to the facist neo-cons.

It's the use of FEAR by the Right.

Their are many factors, but when people think that getting a blow-job an lying about it is more moraly bankrupt, than lying and manipuilating public opinion to Invade another country which kills thousands.
There is something seriously wrong with many of the people of this country.

9. I agree, and I think we should use this
Turn the morality question on them, for once. They've given us plenty to work with, and the liberal view of the current administration is negative mainly on grounds of morality and (un)fairness. Time to talk about it.

11. It seems another Freeper (kds038), can't make a coherant argument
Edited on Tue Nov-18-03 06:31 PM by Homer12
Your so typical, why don't you try to counter my argument with a little logic, evidence, and facts; rather than the usual AM radio right-wing hate machine out-rage.

By the way, Why don't you argue about my points in the orginal post?
And tell me why conservatives like large deficets and Big Brother government now? You hated it when Clinton was president. tell me your so willing to look the other way and cough every time Bushco lies and manipulates the public?

And your still falling on your sword kds038.

12. Possibly...
I think it's because while Bush is the smirking poster boy for Nepotism (Yes, I capitalized that.), he's also an alien that generates deadly waves of stupidity that melts the cerebrums of anyone in a 10-mile radius. Conservatives don't seem to be much for logic. Their ability to babble on endlessly about nothing, however, is fearsome to those not equipped with earplugs.
