Act against the Council for National Policy
Hi everyone! This is the first time I've started a thread. Do you know what the CNP is? If you don't you should head over to my page at Anti-CNP and join it. We can discuss the actions of the CNP there, and what their friends do. You may not know it, but Bush spoke to the CNP during his campaign. He won't say what he said to them because it is a secretive group. He also spoke via videotape at the 'Road to Victory' conference. Victory being when theocratic rule is established in America. Many people who are in the Road to Victory are also in the CNP. Hope to see you in my group.

1. this is SO important!!!
Thanks for posting it ck4829.

By the way, if you haven't already seen this site on the Rise of the Religious Right in the Republican Party, check it out: http://www.TheocracyWatch.org/

It lays out all of the behind-the-scenes stuff that led to the hijacking of the GOP by the religious right, and includes info on the role of the CNP as well.

5. Follow up: My site is expanded now
There are lots of interesting links like Theocracy Watch, Secrets of the FCF, and the Unofficial CNP information page. I will also write a monthly edition of "A History of Evil Within The CNP's Affiliates"(I am not a Religious nut, I just think using the word 'EVIL' attracts people's attention). And anyone is free to post about the CNP, their members, conservatives, and the ways to defeat them. I will also try to be in the Chat area at least once a week. All DUers are welcome, I hope to see you there and thanks for the positive feedback.

7. I'd never heard of CNP until Bob Perry's name came up ...
... as funding the SwiftBoat Liars. Googling on him led me to that seekgod site -- and I've been working furiously to bring myself up to speed ever since. Now I'm getting the feeling that any name that comes up in the context of right-wing politics (Brent Bozell, for one recent example) is sure to be in their database.

What I'd *really* like to know is who's on whose side. For example, I see things saying that the CNP was founded as a more conservative alternative to the Council on Foreign Relations -- but some of their members have ties to the CFR. Is the CNP just a sort of extreme right-wing clearing house with no agenda of its own? Or is there a core group of members who set policies and directions?
