2. I voted Rumsfeld
He feeds on war, therefore on the corpses of our soldiers.

What was that comment he made on ABC recently, about soldiers volunteering to be in the military (and therefore, volunteering to give their lives for their country)?

I have a problem with that. Even though there isn't a draft, and even though people may voluntarily join the armed forces, quite a few do so NOT BECAUSE they expect to go to war, but because they want to gain valuable job skills, and they may not have done well in school or excelled in an academic setting. I know that's the angle the military used for a long time to get people to enlist.

My father didn't have a choice...he was drafted for Vietnam, but he encouraged my older brother to join the Army after high school because he knew he wasn't "college" material.

Thankfully, my cousin is back from Iraq now and is visiting his folks in Houston. I strongly suspect he will not be re-enlisting!

3. impossible to choose. . .
With the exception of Powell, I'm equally frightened by all of them.
. . .all ghoulish.

I used to think that Powell was the only credible one of the bunch.

That was until I heard his presentation to the UN and of the cover ups he was involved in in Vietnam.

We have to get rid of this crew.

5. Before becoming Attorney General
Ashcroft lost his Senate bid to a dead guy.... he pretty much dined off that one, being where he is today and all.

6. Asscroft
That man is so ignorant for a man of his position. Not only is he a puppet reactionary who vehemently opposes homosexuality but he uses our Bill of Rights as a doormat. He seems so. . .ghoulish whenever he appears.

It's frightening. God help us if we have another four years.
