1. Cheyenne, Wy
It was in the paper today. Maybe people will remember my editorial about the Lesser Bush's bring 'em on comment and realize Bush isn't a good person.

2. Something hit me...(and it wasn't my ex-girlfriend this time)
Something hit me while watching the National News on Thurs. and this is a good time to voice my thought before the thought becomes a memory...

During Viet-Nam, when the media would report casualties, the would always be two numbers, the number killed and the number wounded (which usually amounted to app. 3x the amount of killed). Granted, I was in grade school during the broadcasts, but I do specifically remember hearing casualty counts in addition to KIA counts.

These days, it's a bit of a stuggle to find out the number of wounded and I have never heard that number said on-air (although it may have been, it's just that I have not heard it, despite watching the National News about 4 out of 5 nights/week).

My first reaction is to think that maybe the media (under duress from?) and the WH has laid off the casualty counts because it would sound excessive and have demoralizing on *'s Glorious Little War. Heck, it's a rarity to see * even acknowledge KIA unless it's when he put's on his diplomatic boxing gloves...
