My letter to John McCain
Honorable Sir,
I use the honorable and mean it in regards to you Senator McCain.I have the greatest respect and admiration for men like you,my big brother(101st Special Forces Green Beret)My late father(82nd Airborne 505th)Senators Lautenberg and Kerry, veterans who unlike George W Bush SAW action.I am very proud of my heritage and am named after my father's commander in WW11 .You ask if we could put to rest all this malarkey of who served where and when but it's the people in your own party and their mouthpieces in the press like Rush Limbaugh who continue to bring it up.I find this so very distasteful and maybe you should ask THEM to stop.
I don't understand how you can be a member of the re-elect(he was NOT elected I remind you)Bush team Senator McCain after the lies they said about you and your lovely wife in 2000 during the South Carolina primary.Their push-polling tactics were well evil is the only word I can think of that truly applies.I know you would never consider changing parties, instead holding out hope that the GOP would return to it's broader Teddy Roosevelt roots.I'm afraid that'll never happen sir. This coming from a person who has voted for republicans in the past.As I sit here tonight at my computer writing this heartfelt message to you I can honestly say,I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER vote for a republican again--ummm maybe for you--as an independent.
Respectfully Yours
SoFlaJet

2. I respect the man
and am only asking him to ask HIS party to do what he suggests FIRST.

3. Why does anyone respect him?

How is he any different than any other repuke?

Give me reasons. Where does this admiration come from? Because he was in the war? LOTS OF PEOPLE WERE IN THE WAR! That does't mean they are automatically good Senators!

This McCain adoration is sad.

5. If Bush had gone to Vietnam, would you have the same respect?

Would it make a difference?

7. Honey , McCain survived 6 1/2 years in a Nam prison - broken arms
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 10:04 PM by Pallas180
amazing he isn't broken mentally. -- that's why he deserves respect-

but not for his stupid politics and loyalty after what bushco/rove did to him in the 2000 run . He's stupid to keep supporting that administration..but that's not what I said to him in those words.

On the other hand McCleland lost three limbs in Nam but that didnt stop bushco from attacking him as unpatriotic. Dirty dirty plicks.

6. I sent this:
http://mccain.senate.gov

Dear Senator McCain,

I have the greatest respect for you but in this
case I would like you to just shut up.

Frank Lautenberg is absolutely right.
Your leader was AWOL, Cheney, Feith, Wolfowitz,
and all the rest of the no-cons never served one
day but avoided it while they're gung ho to send
our children to be killed for oil.

They hate our freedom, my eye.

They hate Americans because we have supported every dictator in the Middle East for the entire century.

Don;'t you dare attack Frank Lautenberg or anyone else who speaks the truth about the crime family sitting in the White House.

I like you personally, but your loyalty to the worst, dirtiest administration in the history of this country is pathetic.

You have a duty to me, the citizen, before you have a duty to a political party.

Just thought I'd remind you.

I'm truly sorry to have to chastise you.

Sincerely
