that the woman moderating the calls would allow the republicans(those who agree w/pres.Bush) to rail on an on as long as they wanted.She would be rifling thru the papers pretending to be distracted,letting the hard headed name calling generally ignorant Bush supporters go in any direction unchecked.When a DEMOCRAT would stray off topic she would be right there chastising them and cutting them off for not following HER rules.I have grown a very keen awareness to the TV pundits bias since oh I'd say the Clinton administration.

Peter looks like he's going to explode when Dems criticize Chimpy.

Pedro gets really flustered at Dem callers.

And of course, we always know what to expect on Freeper Friday with Brian Lamb.

Just the way the calls are divided: For Pres. Bush*, For Democrats, others.

Welcome To DU...just read around, lots of us have noticef this for a long time.

For some of us, hearing these looneys is a good thing as you need to know your enemy to overcome them...and they won't bother to listen to you.

At least those of us with a realistic view can call in...that's a lot better than the other "punditry" shows that's agendas are also reguarly discussed in the Media & General Discussion forums.

4. During the second segment of calls on Iraqi prisoner torture, a very

good Democrat was allowed to express what all of us think about Iraq, Saddam, the war, and our government. I was amazed she was not interrupted.

She covered most of the points very clearly. And the anchor actually allowed her to say most of what she wanted.
Where were the democrats when Saddam was killing Iranians with mustard gas? We were asking why the US goverment (republican) was supporting a killer and giving him chemical weapons.
And democrats do want to fight evil: our own government which has run amock.
And much more.

I don't think Dick Shelby and Arlen Specter could be too happy being seen holding hands with Saddam...LOL. Wilson did qualify that Shelby was an asshole Democrat at the time...now he's a total asshole.
