Sen. Hatch whining on CSpan 2 now about "liberal activist judges"
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 05:26 PM by demo@midlife
in California - "The court was divided evenly, but ONE MORE liberal activist judge made the difference, and struck down traditional marriage" (I'm paraphrasing).

He's taking up the time that Sens. Clinton and Jeffords are supposed to have for their speeches. Grrrr!

Edit: Oh yeah, and I might add, where was HE when only ONE Supreme Court Justice made the difference in Florida in 2000 when they struck down democracy (and that was only the beginning)?

1. Pay AssHatch no mind....
Most 'liberal activist judges' were statistically likely to have been appointed by Reagan. They're doing their freakin' JOB, which is to defend the Constitution. Hatch needs a refresher course, obviously.

2. Is it true that Hatch is claiming he wrote "As the Eagle Soars" and wants
a piece of the action if Ashcroft cuts a cd?

Yeah, I made it up. Seemed like something Hatch might do. Think Drudge would print it if I sent it to him and told him my name is Orrin Hatch?

2. "The interests of greedy trial attorneys"
3. "____Got off on a technicality"
4. "Enemy Combatant"
5. "Hamstrung by regulations"
6. "Tort Reform"

5. Orin Hatch and terrorism
I wonder if anyone will have the guts to mention Orin Hatch's comment about our last legally elected President's attempts to secure the passage of strong anti-terrorism bills only to be voted down by the Republican controlled Congress and to have it called a joke by Hatch?
