Conservatives and 9/11-ophilia

That's right, there are Americans who are actually happy for 9/11. And I am not just talking about Robertson and Falwell's atttempt for political gain from the attacks either. On an AOL chat board one day, I had noticed one post said "Al Qaeda, please attack us now", this person was an American and was a Conservative. I know most people here know who Fred Phelps is, he is a bigoted reverend who sports a message I really do not want to repeat. He has said "Thank God for 9/11". It has also been reported that just two week after the attacks, the Bush Administration were planning to use the attacks, their failure, the cruel deed he could have but did not prevent, to their advantage.

How dare the Conservatives call us traitors. We aren't the ones pleading for terrorists to attack us, we aren't the ones who are blaming terrorist attacks on the ACLU and non-Christians, we aren't the ones who are thanking supernatural entities for terrorism, and we aren't trying to turn a day of destruction and death into one little political event that can be taken advantage of.
