You know, when George (of Seinfeld fame) turned his life around by doing the opposite of everything one would normally believe was effective? I think that's the ticket.
How else to explain the PDB of Aug 6, 2001 entitled "Bin Laden Determined To Strike US" as "historical" in nature (Condi Rice) while terming 4-year-old info as "new" and "specific?" (Ridge)
How else to explain the naming of environmentally damaging programs with monikers like "Clear Skies" and "Healthy Forests?"
And how about the most-obvious example of the Costanza gambit: the Bill O'Leilly interview with Michael Moore, where O'Leilly basically quoted George's "it's not a lie if you don't think it's a lie" philosophy to explain bush's claims on the non-existent WMDs.
I think the Kerry campaign needs to call Larry David and get copies of all the Seinfeld episodes. Therein lies the strategy of the bush campaign and, ultimately, the key to defeating them in November.
