I watched Arnold S. on TV...He was visiting troops in Iraq. He stated that US soldiers are true "terminators". Arnold also remarked that the bad conditions he encountered in Iraq reminded him of chaos in CA... It was nice of Arnold to visit the troops...He could be spending time in Asia or Europe to promote his T3 film...Asia and Europe are important markets...I don't think that the studio considers Iraq to be an important market for the T3 film... It might have been even better if Arnold visited the troops with a female star...But, who? Jennifer Lopez?

I have slowly come to the conclusion that California needs Arnold. Republicans need Arnold, and above all, California Republicans need Arnold. I had been leaning towards McClintock, and I must admit, I made that decision before Arnold threw his hat into the ring. I welcomed the move when he did, but I still had reservations. The sound bite of his address to the crowd was something like: "Bush should see Terminator 3 because it's the only place he'll find weapons of mass destruction." I don't know if Arnold Schwarzenegger will run for governor. But I do know this: Our standard-order politicians are dreaming if they think they are going to blow him away. I'm not surprised that the general public sees Schwarzenegger, so far, as little more than a Hollywood celebrity. But the political class should know better.
