4. Where Did He Get Them?

If (hypothetically) a person is wearing medals that they didn't earn, where did they get them?

Is there a drawer full of medals in some office where you can distract the receptionist and grab whatever you want?

Do you ask a braver friend if you could borrow one of those to pose in this picture?

Do you take them out of a box that you've inherited from Grandpa?

Do you forge a note from your CO that says, "Please give little Georgie this medal. He's a walking waste of space but his Daddy is rich and powerful?"

5. Where to get them?

You go to the PX and put down your money. The assumption is that you only wear the honors you earn. Of course that implies you are an Honorable person.
