Anyone hear of Conservative Punk?

I can't believe I'm even acknowledging these twits ... but I only made it through the first paragraph of this column, and was ready to spit nails - so I sent the author a nice little response. I would certainly be open to firing off another if anyone is so inclined to fuel me - or please feel free to write your own.

The problem this analogy is that you overestimated your own size and strength (or perhaps "misunderestimated" the husband). Not only did the little guy kick the shit out of you and the friends you convinced to join in ... the "lady" still isn't sure she wants to leave.

This "noble" analogy is total bullshit.

The more I read of your "views", the more I am convinced that you are complete fool. I love how you "libertarian" types side with Bush, under the uneducated assumption that he is a fiscal conservative thereby sacrificing any social liberalism you might believe - because it doesn't effect you. Gee - let me guess? ... are you a hetero white male? Ding ding ding - I think we have a winner! You think it's perfectly fine to jeopardize others civil liberties because you want to be a cry baby about paying taxes. Here's a news flash for you, champ: Bush isn't doing shit for you (unless of course you are one of those ever clever trust fund boys pretending to have an opinion of your own and rebelling against your oppressive daddy by pretending to be tortured). Speaking of torture ... I love how you never want to spend tax money within the US, but have no problem spending billions and billions of dollars on a nonsensical war, basically plummeting this country into massive debt. I wish they would bring back the draft - so I could watch smug little shits like you shit their pants when they are sent off. Go do a little reading up on this administration's record, and then maybe you'll be qualified to form an opinion.

9. actually, that's not true at all

A lot of them were more 'left' when they were younger, but they had a shallow, knee-jerk sort of 'left' politics, and instead of moderating or refining their point of view, they react against the person they once were.

They're the sort of people whose politics are based in feelings and not reason. They've just switched sides because self-reflection is too difficult for them.

Some people start out at one extreme, then when they realize their politics were nutty, they go to the other extreme. Then, when they get to the other side, they bash all of the 'nutty' people they used to associate with.

A lot of them were just macho idiots to begin with, but not Nazis.
