Sterotyping and Conservitives

I live in a family full of Conservitives and all they do is sterotype every group of people in the world. I find it very replusive if you live in my house then my family will find some group your in and sterotype it into the groun . be it gender,religon,country,politcal oragnazation, or etc.

And much of it is on the most obsured of things like if your a guy your not suppose to be on a diet and concerned about your health and you must have a crue cut where your almost bald. And if your a woman you should not dare where pants to church or have a job outside the home unless it is a nurse,secratary,teacher,. And if you are for PEACE your a coward or insane.

I do not care to discuss religon or politics since we can agree on neither 2/3's of the time :bounce:

1. Your family sounds like my stepdad's father and his family!

None of us could stand to be around them for very long, especially my stepdad and his brother. I felt like making them all a halo, since they believed they were the only perfect people in the whole world. And yes, it does seem that conservatives are especially good at that kind of stereotyping; the smart ones are even skilled in the use of code words to mask their stereotyping and bigotry.

2. It is so nice to be able to talk to people who are

smart and not brain damaged everyday. I would have to be hauled off to the funny farm if I did not have the message boards and neighboors whom I see when there is a yard sale or something going on. :)
