Taser stock drops on Chicago incident
Chicago police department wants to look into stun gun-related death, sending shares down 6%.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Shares of Taser International Inc. fell 6 percent on Friday after a published report said a 54-year-old Chicago man died after police used a Taser stun gun to subdue him. <snip>

Taser stock has lost more than half of its value since the beginning of 2005 as a few incidents have raised questions about the safety of its stun guns. <snip>

Lawsuit filed in Taser incident Chicago Teen Tasered

CHICAGO IL USA Team Amber Alert AP-- A lawsuit has been filed against the City of Chicago and a police officer who used a Taser stun gun on a 14-year-old boy.

The Department of Children and Family Services' guardianship administrator, who serves as the teen's legal guardian, filed the lawsuit in Cook County court today. It seeks at least 50-thousand dollars from each defendant. <snip>
