So which of you lucky people invested in SPC?

I'm doing a stock market simulation for my economics class and lost $10,000 on it Thursday and Friday morning when I finally sold it. I was wondering if I should short sell it and try to make some of that money back Monday.

I was second place but am 36th now. Dropped me from $119,000 to $110,000 dollars. We started with $100,000 but I took out a $200,000 loan and invested $25,000 in eight stocks. $10,000 gain isn't bad for 10 weeks, but the game ends Friday and I don't think I can climb back. I wish the game was longer. Ten weeks is essentially a crap shoot of who can gamble the most and win.

1. Hmmm...

If I was in your position, I would hold on to it and try to recover the loss next week. Not much can be done in a week, but sometimes after a big loss, the following week can be a big gain. Without analyzing their charts, I can't give you much advice other than that.

You could also try and call up some major investment firms and media and float rumors to make SPC look favorable. (just kidding) :P
