I was having a conversation about the economy and the current financial crisis and this subject came up.

$100,000 in deposits are insured.

How much if there are multiple owners of the account?

And what about monies held in banks not as deposits but as investments?

And what of investment accounts held in multiple names?

Or trust accounts managed by a bank that have both income and principle beneficiaries?

Can anyone provide me a link to information answering these questions?
