Apple touts Quicktime for cell phones
In the not-too-distant future, your mobile phone will have a morsel of Apple in it.

"We don't put it in those devices. The industry does this," Apple's Frank Casanova II, senior director of the California-based company's Core Media Group, said yesterday.

Casanova, who was heading an Apple roadshow in Asia, had been meeting with local telcos to drum up support for his company's flagship core media player, QuickTime. Taiwanese mobile phone operators were expected to test and launch their 3G services later this year.
