Did anyone see the exchange on Chris Matthews last night...

It was Chris and two women talking about all the Hollywood stars that were coming and one woman said...

"They're in trouble" "Why do you think there's 450$ billion dollars in tax cuts in the stimulus package". Then she said something about the strike and how they hadn't recovered. blah blah

My sleeping pills were kicking in. Did she really say this or was I hallucinating? I looked for a transcript but it's not up yet.

2. Thanks. I'm glad it wasn't just me. I've been googling and I can't find
any news on Hollywoods money problems.

3. I'm still getting nothing by googling, but I do have a personal story..

My local Obama group has been having meetings since the election to try and keep the movement going and one woman who's came twice has wanted us to help her get a bill passed giving Hollywood an tax cut for filming in Ohio! I guess there's a bill in the state house. This woman bought an old school house and she wants to rent it for movies but she says the people she knows in Hollywood say they won't film here unless they get a tax cut.

So far the Gov is saying no. I have no idea why. I think it's a good idea for our district since we have a lot of historical buildings. We're desperate in my town. VERY bad economy. Even our schools are going under.
