Supply-side economics != free trade

Supply-side economics - screwed us over royally.
Free trade - not bad or good in nature. Can be manipulated and reformed.
Import tariffs - Probably not good to apply broadly thanks to a probably tit-for-tat reaction. Every here and there, might work, but not wholesale.

1. Tariffs Work Just Fine

They're the reason why Europe still has a middle class. Tariffs are the only way to prevent catastrophe when dealing with micro-wage countries.

2. China sells junk over here

that they make ofr pennies and sell for gold over here. Our customs should have at least protected our products from foreign junk attacks.

3. The Supply Siders manipulated Free Trade to their benefit.

That's why tariffs are totally unfair to American workers.
