There should be a list of all the dumb "pork" projects that the Republicans passed over the past eight years?

1. You only need a list of length 1:
1) The Iraq War

I mean, you could add more, but everything else is rounding error compared to that.

3. No...I want more...
There are probably a million little projects that Dems could use other than Iraq...You don't have to rely on Iraq for everything.

4. Excuse me?
'You don't have to rely on Iraq for everything.' What does that mean? If you are looking to convince the rethugs that they too have had earmarks, just save your breath. You could have a list as long as Job's woe's and they would still deny complicity. Give it up.

6. because it would just open up a discussion about Iraq...not spending
Look, if a Republican comes at you with a $200M for sod argument, are you just going to scream Iraq at him? Why not reply with a specific spending program that they wasted money on? That's a more effective way of revealing hypocrisy than just relying on the same strategy.

7. Iraq is the mother of all spending programs and by the way...
we haven't paid one dime on that war of over six years! This illegal war brought on by * and his evil doers is the root of our problems. But even if you love the war the fact that it wasn't financed is still the war lovers problem. Face it!

5. Budget-wise, Iraq *is* everything. To a first approximation.
The rest of it is hypocritical, but the actual amount of money is much smaller.
