CNBC The Tantrum Continues.......
CNBC, the bubble blowing channel, and the pundits who park their Big Wheels there, are once again today leading the "Revolution of the Spoiled Brats" who won't take personal responsibility for their very large part in destroying the country.

CNBC, who never met a bubble it didn't want to blow, is now the de-facto leader of disgruntled Republicans who can't get over losing the election so they now want the country to fail.

Cranky conservatives all over the country are missing their nap times to watch their "hero" Rick Santelli give fiery speeches from his pouty mouth about something called the "Boston Breast Milk Party".

Apparently conservatives all over the country are planning to get together in a big rubber ducky and throw their "teats" overboard.

WOW! Is that government teats we're talking about? As in tax cuts for the rich to wage endless wars to get contracts to reconstruct nothing? As in government jobs held mostly by Republicans who are going to rebel against their own paychecks?

What a great idea! Go for it Rick "the short" Santelli.

We want to see a march down Wall Street, with thousands of traders, on their Big Wheels, bottles raised in their furious little hands chanting...

I WANT I WANT I WANT

But before you guys do we want you to put your tax returns on-line. Because as an adult, I have to say, I don't believe toddlers even pay taxes.

How about it Rick, Jim, Joe....

And while you're at it, put your trading histories out their too.

VIVA LA BA BA!!!!!!!

on edit:

Joanne, I have been clicking your posts and links for over a year now, and you've been exactly right on. You've been one of the most beneficial contributors to DU, especially concerning this economic crisis - and I thank you profusely for it. I'm sure others are very grateful for it, too.

But you're wrong on this one.

5. My problem with Santelli is he's become the leader of the spoiled brat revolution.
Edited on Mon Feb-23-09 01:11 PM by Joanne98
Whether he choose that or not he's encouraging the Republicans. I know he's a bond trader. Don't get my started on that. I think people don't realize how totally screwed we are. We can't have millions of families out on the street while millions of house sit empty. And he IS sowing resentment. "How many people want to pay off their neighbors mortgage".. You know it's funny when we try to protect ourselves from unfair trade deals we get called "beggar thy neighbor" but when we want to spend some tax money on our REAL next door neighbors we get called socialist. How absurd.

Truthfully Santelli doesn't bother me have as much as the rest of them. I'd be having a lot more fun if Kudlow was the leader of the revolution. But he's not so I have to pick on Rick.

edit a PS

Hopefully by tommorrow Rick will have just shut up. But if he hasn't I'm already writing.. "Does Rick Santelli have Diaper Rash"

13. Yeah, well, I'm not surprised the repukes ala Malkin and her ilk
are twisting Santelli's rants for their own personal agendas, and neither should you.

And they ARE twisting it.

I'm just about resigned to the idea of some sort of unavoidable violent civil war soon - the ball of twine is tangled beyond comprehension - and here's a hint: it won't be the repugs vs dems or the socialists against the capitalists.

It'll be everyone for themselves.

6. Yeah I know. it's all just a gigantic joke. But until we get MEDIA REFORM
we have to suffer though it. But we can't stop thumping the right because we don't want them to weaken Obama.

10. Obama's econ guy just set her straight. Explained exactly why it is paychecks, not portfolios, jobs
not ticker numbers and dow levels. She started yelling and cutting him off, he patiently waited and destroyed her talking point. She was great earlier, but spun on a dime and is now preaching the CNBC BS meme.

11. Santelli-inspired Tea Parties become the rage

No doubt about it: Populist messages resonate — and by the looks of it — those messages can grow pretty darn fast.

Last week, CNBC's Rick Santelli expressed the frustration of a lot of Americans who are working every day and paying their bills only to find out that, through President Obama's Mortgage Relief Plan, they also will be working to pay the bills of those that lived beyond their means.

Not exactly living the dream.

Santelli's populist message or rant, depending on who is framing the message, has begat a movement.

So, in the spirit of the Boston Tea Party and inspired by Santelli's challenge to stage a "Chicago Tea Party," average Americans are becoming activists around the country and planning "Tea Party" protests this week.

From Chicago to Boston, Los Angeles to D.C., Tea Party organizers are popping up everywhere.

Even CPAC, the conservative-palooza held in D.C. this weekend, will have a Tea Party of its own.

If you want an easy way to find out how to join up, just take a quick visit to the social network Facebook’s search drive, type in 'Santelli Tea Party' and all the deets you ever wanted are listed on several newly formed pages.

This revolution apparently will be televised, or at least 'You-Tubed.'
