Oh my... are they crazy?
The MSM's slide toward complete irrelevance continues, unabated.

http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1946375_1947251,00.html">Person of the Year 2009

"The story of the year was a weak economy that could have been much, much weaker. How the mild-mannered man who runs the Federal Reserve prevented an economic catastrophe"

lol...

1. The elites are desperate to keep Bernanke in charge of the Fed
And why not, he's funneled trillions straight onto their bottom line leaving the country holding the bill.

3. Remember, it's Time, INC.
or rather, Time Warner INC.

Shareholders, CEOs, etc, etc.

He certainly WAS Person of the Year for the corporatists.

4. What did you expect from the corporate media...
Bernie Sanders as Man of the Year?

This is war, and propaganda is part of war.

8. Maybe Time just didn't dare name Lloyd Blankfein to that slot
(unlike Forbes/Directorship's 2009 CEO of the Year): http://www.forbes.com/2009/12/16/lloyd-blankfein-goldman-leadership-managing-directorship.html

The nice guy from the Bronx. Uh huh.

10. Being the ":Man of the Year" is not necessarily an honor.
Time (which I never read), views it as the person that had the largest impact. In that light, I think a person could make a pretty good case for Uncle Ben. Note: Hitler was also a Time Man of the Year in 1938. Hitler certainly had a pretty big impact on the world.

13. Agreed
And I seriously doubt anybody on this board could have disputed last year's "Person of the Year": Barack Obama
