Collective memory, or lack of |

Our parents lived with the "Depression mentality" for years, well into the post war boom when it wasn't necessary. The whole friggin world seems to have forgotten that we just had the largest real estate bubble in history two years ago.

left us with the Great Recession. If you listen to the MSM there never was a recession until January 2009 and all the job losses and deficits just appeared out of thin air. I don't think I have ever seen that chart on the MSM showing that we were losing 700,000 jobs a month when Obama took office and we have been gaining jobs for seven of the last eight months. I haven't seen the chart that shows we have had positive GDP growth since the 3rd quarter of 2009, that is the definition of a recovery. But they want us to think we are still in the (Obama Recession).

We still blame Hoover for the Depression (and rightfully so) But after two years of trying to recover from what Bush and the GOP did too us, all we hear is "Stop blaming Bush". And if you look at any talk about housing, it's all about getting prices back to their bubble levels. Insane!

The path we're staring down makes the Great Depression look like a walk in the park.
