The Red States Are Welfare States
Another example of conservative hypocrisy:

1. Yup. This state, Ohio, is a donor state.
I wonder how much support those RW asshole politicians would have if they were not being artifically supported by the rest of the country.

3. You mean waving about a bunch of numbers
That you don't understand?

I live in a blue state that ranks right at the top. We also have a low population but a very high percentage of people on the federal government payroll. If you took away our 3 Air force bases, White Sands, Fort Bliss, Los Alamos and Sandia labs we'd probably rank last. Funny thing... I don't see many other states hopping up and down and begging to host Los Alamos, Sandia and White Sands.

4. that who doesn't understand?
New mex. is an exception 2 the rule 4 the very reasons you stated, and probably Y it is the only blue state in the top 11. D.C isn't represented (as it isn't a state, I assume) but it has, by far, the highest amount of fed $ flowing into it. Wonder why? The article states plainly that the numbers don't tell the whole story. Many of the states that receive more than they pay R also highly aggrarian. Red voting bible belt farmers don't seem 2 have a problem accepting farm subsidies, as has been N the news a few times lately. 1 such is crazy-eyed Michell Bauchman.

6. Did Glenn Beck Tell you that?
Maybe you should study the history of the rise of labor unions, the rise of the middle class, and the increased growth of the economy and how they all interact. There are some good points to be made, but by and large, the unions are not the problem.
