1. And that's why everyone else must sacrifice
because apparently it's preferable to marching on Wall St. and putting all these guys on lampposts like they deserve.

2. "My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks"

Barack Obama
April 2, 2010
White House

In his talk to the avaricious, self-righteous, and criminal heads of the 13 largest banks in the United States, those who are chiefly responsible for our financial crisis.

I will never understand why he gave up the chance to reform our financial system and give us a path to growth when
perhaps one of the greatest orators of our time had the opportunity in hand to do so. People tell me it is because those
bankers had become one of the largest donors to his election, and because he hired the democrats from the Clinton
administration who had helped change the laws to make the excesses of 2000-2008 possible.

But this guy had a real chance to reverse decades of wrong directions, to make real history. He gave it up for that?

A thought comes to me -

If he's got their backs, and we've got his back, whose got our backs?

3. I just listened to the whole show
and found it very worthwhile. The two minutes you highlight are a well presented and easy to grasp assessment of our financial tailspin and why it's happening.

Thanks for posting this, I did not know about this Keisre report, will bookmark, and also recommend.
