According to this article, ND has great employment rate, only 650.000 people in the entire state, and has the only state owned bank in the country.

And has cheap housing.

11. Family moved from Florida to North Dakota

I worked with their son who was disabled. They were homeless in Florida. The father found a job in North Dakota on a Thursday. The family left the following Tuesday, in the blink of an eye.

Weather? Absurd when you are homeless.

The town she is from, and is now currently teaching in, is called Parshal. She said the bigotry towards natives by whites there is awful.
