This asshat is dogging me on TED spouting his libertarian pixie dust BS.The problem I don't really know much about the Austrian school other than the fact that is freidmanlike drivel.

Any know to cogent critiques or just general talking points or refutations would be very helpful.

governing ethic.

Now, I don't mean lightly regulated nations like Hong Kong, which has single payer health care. I mean full social and economic Libertarianism. The whole nine yards.

Tell him to provide one example of a nation that's Libertarian and has a high standard of living, that is peaceful, and prosperous.

If he cannot, then everything that he's spouting is masturbatory theory.

I generally just tell them that libertarianism/the Austrian School suffers from the same problem Marxism does: they both require the perfection of the human species in order to work.

Then I become unavailable while they rattle themselves to pieces over being compared with something they find so abhorrent.
