Vivendi mulls three bids: sources
Vivendi Universal SA will decide between bids from NBC, Liberty Media Corp. and a group headed by former Seagram Co. executive Edgar Bronfman for the sale of its entertainment assets.

A source familiar with the negotiations said Tuesday that all three groups met Monday's deadline to bid for the assets. The source said the deadline would not be extended, but declined to say whether the bids met the $14-billion (U.S.) minimum Vivendi had set for the package or if Vivendi had set a timeline for a decision.

A Vivendi spokeswoman declined to comment on the process. Representatives for NBC, which is owned by General Electric...

1. Don't they own Fox and therefore Faux News?
Maybe they're in for a little house cleaning. Then again maybe this is part of some plan.
