BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder County, seemingly always in the vanguard of change, is looking at using solar power for county buildings.
The Camera reported that county officials decided Friday to look into supplying power to up to 16 county buildings with energy generated by the sun.
Ann Livingston, sustainability coordinator for Boulder County, said a private company would be hired to build the solar panels. That would make it possible to get federal rebates the county wouldn't qualify for.
It will be several years in the making.
The decision surely would please fictional Boulder resident Mork, an alien who came to America and lived near Boulder in a popular TV series.
