Disturbing - Bush's Plan to Privatize National Parks Jobs

See thhe Sierra magazine article on this topic for another reason to get rid of the Bush Administration. The Park Service employees that I've met seem to be working because they love the environment, not for their modest wages. For that reason I have to believe the intent of the Bush program is to remove pro-environment people from the parks, not to save money.

1. It's already being done on a local level.

Look to the south. They're beginning to put requirements on the park's jobs which are over and above the requirements needed. What it's doing is wiping out "undesirable" unskilled workers, to make room for more crony jobs. The same parks and recreation facility I'm thinking about even gave constructions jobs to rebuild structures that were damaged due to a hurricane, to a corporation from Texas. I wondered with all the people in bad need of jobs in Florida, why they had to give the money to Texans?

2. Maybe the Fla cos gave their $ to the wrong Bush?

Giving campaign contributions to the RIGHT people seems to go a long way with this Adminstration. Which Texas corporation got the construction contract?
