I remember back in the 50's the idea that the laws of physics might change depending on where you are in the universe was hot (? or at least discussed) - but then it died.

Now Einstein's constant is out and about, and gravity has different values in different locations of space time (sort of a phase change as the force gets very weak because of the distance from and lack of mass relative to that area of space time) is proposed as a solution to some problems.

Does anyone have a link to the latest Black Hole thoughts or Laws of Physics as Suggestions thoughts?

1. Try the Discover website and magazine

There is an interesting article in the magazine this month. There is a scientist who has explained the speed of galaxies' rotation and the slowing of the Pioneer probes by adding another variable to Newton's gravity theory that comes into play at great distances. I don't know if it affects Einstein's theories. But it looks like his new variable explains the probe slowing and the missing matter in mathematical terms, but not why. Of course, we really don't know why gravity works at all, do we?

3. Not a serious student

but I've read a little. Lots of theories are talked about.

a search for gravity theory or gravity push theory returns 74K+ sites or so. It doesn't seem that any of them agree. Two examples ..
