1. Not to be mean or rude, but I wish folks would include the article

or part of the article or text from these things. Even with satellite I have a slow download
and cannot connect to other sites without a 10 minute plus wait, and you tubes just freeze up the machine, even with upgrades.
We have expected peak oil since the 50s well the oil companies did , and I took the 72 oil crisis as more than a hint. I have had gas guzzlers, but have always tried to combine trips and use fuel wisely.
One cannot always go buy a good car cheap on gas. Sometime you are stuck with what you can afford at the moment.
We are heating our home with kero this winter, we need a new heat pump and even a new one does not do much heating when the temps fall below about 25, you then use the electric element that really sucks up power. 400 electric bills anyone?
