Arctic climate resource: Centre for Ocean and Ice - Danish Meteorological Institute

This is a very useful, handy resource for anyone interested in following climate change. ("Anyone?" Yep. I found it following links, funnily enough, through an AGW denialist website that was otherwise busy torturing sunspot data.) The site is in both Danish and English.

http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/index.uk.php">COI-DMI Arctic pages
These pages lead to statistics and statistical abstracts on sea ice and mean air temperature.

The SST is required reference for any climate data set.

I have been reading up on the role of sunspot cycles in climate. Sadly, the entire field has been overrun by denialists who think that they have found the silver bullet. But given a 2°C swing in temperatures from solar activity against an AGW temperature increase predicted to be 8°C or more, I think that there will be some unpleasant surprises in store.

Some of the denialists, though, are thorough, and their sources are often useful. It's a shame they put so much effort into the exercise; the history of Science shows us that being wrong can lead to productive and useful work, too -- but that someone else makes the actual discoveries.
