Photos from Copenhagen climate protests

About 100.000 people are marching through Copenhagen and converging at the conference hall right now. Unfortunately most of the tabloid media are only interested in the 40-50 people arrested while the message of the other 99.950 people does not seem to matter much. This is from the same media who totally ignored an anti-war protest while Obama were in Oslo.

Also the photo of the person painted like the earth, dying. Very creative and it's wonderful to see so many people from around the world demonstrating in support of those in Copenhagen.

I wonder why throughout history, it is always a small group, comparitively, who make decisions that are so harmful to the people. I believe that a majority of the world's population, with good leadership, would create a very different world than the sad, tragic world for so many, that the minority of greedy, ambitious, power-hungry, war-mongers we allow, time after time, to take over.
