So it deserves lots of recs so everybody can revel in the failure.

3. No reveling

Considering combating anthropocentric climate change is possibly one of the greatest issues facing this planet the failure to achieve any real progress when 20 years has already been wasted is criminal.

All too often we are told that the US is the leader of the world. This result was a failure and in a situation where we do not have the time to dawdle stepping backwards simply takes us all closer to collapse.

If America wishes to be seen as a leader then it should act as one. The future simply got bleaker after yesterdays decision.

2. It was a mistake to for him to go

to Copenhagen. It has been clear for some time that nothing was going to come of this meeting. Thelast thing he needed at this point was another pointles gesture of futility. His politicalcapital is shrinking faster than the arctic ice.
