I haven't read much about this, but allegedly it includes hard caps on greenhouse gas emissions. Might be worth faxing a letter to your senators. (The vote may be too soon for snail mail)

They talked about placing caps on Greenhouse gas emissions and that industry and the Bu$h administration don't like it.

It is definitly worth an email to your Senators about.

2. this is best done, by states

Most/all states know their greenhouse gas numbers.
Don't expect Washington to act in this issue.
Sometimes, you must take matters into your own hands.
A successful state program, would be an example for others.
The alternative is, progressive states doing nothing.
