In connection with a discussion I was having on another website, where I don't go all that often anymore, I was reviewing some biochemistry I hadn't thought about for some time.

Here is an interesting fact: The human brain burns about 120 grams of glucose daily, producing 1,760 kJ of energy. A day contains 86400 seconds. This means that the power output of your brain is about 20 watts.
