2003 Third-Warmest Year On Record
GENEVA - "This year, marked by a sweltering summer and drought across large swaths of the planet, was the third hottest in nearly 150 years, the United Nations weather agency said Tuesday.

The World Meteorological Organization estimated the average surface temperature for the year to be 0.81 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the normal 57 degrees.

The agency said warmer weather could not be attributed to any one cause but was part of a trend that global warming was likely to prolong.

The agency, which collects data from forecasters worldwide, said the three hottest years since accurate records began to be kept in 1861 have all been in the past six years. The hottest was 1998, when the average temperature was up 0.99 degrees."

2. And how old is the planet?
Think about it. We have only been keeping weather records for less then 1% of the planets life.

4. My point exactly.
We have no bases for global warming. It's just a knee jerk reaction to the holes in the oxone layer. Which, by the way, are smaller now then when we first could detect them.

5. This is significant regardless what some dubious posters say
People who claim GW is ficticious might as well stop using any and all
technology products because the same scientific methods used to conclude
GW IS REAL, are the same methods used in all research today.

For those of you who demand proof, the proof is in the Glaciers...
