I've been annoyed all day at the Google news stories, "After 30 years, ozone hole is recovering" from the Christian Science Monitor and "Earth's ozone hole begins repairing itself" from ABC Online.
When you read the story you learn that the rate of ozone depletion has only slowed. There's no repair or recovering. But it's a good propaganda story.
At least Science Daily got it right. Their headline is "Destruction of ozone layer is slowing after worldwide ban on CFC release".
Guess I'm just being contrary.
