Hmm, $14 million for "alternative fuel research" in Ohio
"Out of the trash can and into the gas tank" from the 1/19/2004 Akron Beacon Journal.

$14 million plant to "research" turning trash into ethanol. (Hasn't he heard about corn?)

Something smelled to me, so I did a check on the guy.

Here's what I found on opensecrets.org:

$300 (twice, totalling $600) to the Republican National Congressional Committee in 2002

$250 to State Senator Ralph Regula (R-Navarre Ohio) in 2002.

I wonder how this guy is going to get the funds? And is he really supposed to get any "results"

1. I think it's great. An alternative fuel and waste solution in one.
Different process, but thermal depolymerization produces similar results. I think it's going to be the waste disposal plan of the next century.
