1. And the big US auto makers are ready to go bankrupt....
Because they're too stupid to build 'em, and would rather try to sell their big ugly SUVs even if nobody wants the damn things anymore.

Fucking idiots!

4. You said that right.
They have waiting lines for the Prius Hybrid. Although Toyata is much better than American auto dealers -- their cars consume way less petrol -- that fact still pisses me off. Why don't they get more people making them? There should not be a waiting list for a damn car.

Now don't even get me started on American auto dealers.

And why aren't they all making plug-in hybrids? The technology is there.

Grrrrr..

2. I'm going to check out a new Prius tomorrow.
Probably won't buy it. My little 4-cylinder S-10 doesn't get bad mileage, but in a couple of months I'm looking forward to not having a car payment for the first time in 15 years!

3. I still have a few years of payments on my current vehicle
but, I will not buy another conventional fuel vehicle for my primary transportation.

My second car, I probably won't have a choice if I have to buy another one, but I'll be getting a small Toyota or Honda, so the mpg still won't be bad (I currently have an '88 Corolla for my 2nd car)

5. That's great. I'm glad gas prices are going to be high forever now.
Gas will never be cheap again and, to me, this is great news.
