1. Trailer doesn't seem to be working.
Having driven a Saturn EV-1 a few years back when they were still selling them I can say high prices, low acceleration, long recharge times, and short range per charge were the draw backs I saw. That an the fact that the batteries had to be replaced every few years at incredible cost.

2. I think of the EV-1 as a 1990s experiment to test the technology
And would not expect too much from it. I could see why the manufacturer would recall them on lease and destroy them.

I can also see why some hobbyists would like to have an EV-1. I have a friend who electrified an old Honda Civic and uses it on the flat lands in his town. It cannot at all climb long, steep hills, so he does not leave the area with it.
